Aniruddha Anjana, a business owner who lived in the United States for a decade before coming back to India, claimed in an Instagram post that he used the 50/30/20 budgeting method to estimate the salary range.

For a household of two adults and two children, Anjana claimed that his calculation assigned 50 percent to fixed expenses, 30 percent to wants like travel and entertainment and 20 percent to investments. San Francisco, the nation’s center for technology, was deemed the most costly city, necessitating a salary of 407,597 US dollars (Rs. 3.89 crore) for a family of four. He also gives a list of salaries required for living in US cities.
