Miss Universe 2025: Mexico’s Fátima Bosch Fernández Wins the Title And Here’s How!

On Friday, November 21, 2025, Fátima Bosch Fernández, hailing from Mexico, takes the crown of Miss Universe 2025. Miss Thailand was named first runner-up, Miss Venezuela was declared second runner-up, Miss Philippines was announced as third runner-up, and Miss Côte d’Ivoire stood as fourth. India’s Manika Vishwakarma exited the international beauty contest after failing to enter the top 12. 

India has won the Miss Universe title three times, starting with Sushmita Sen in 1994, Lara Dutta in 2000, and Harnaaz Sandhu in 2021. Here’s a glimpse at how Mexico’s beauty bagged the Miss Universe 2025 title!

Indian badminton legend, Saina Nehwal, served on the prestigious judging panel.  The Miss Universe 2025 competition will be etched in the hearts of millions for Fatima’s resilience, conviction, poise, and powerful messages on authenticity, leadership, and women’s empowerment. The question posed to her was, ‘What were the challenges of being a woman in 2025?’ to which she replied with clarity and confidence, emphasizing the responsibility of women in leadership, the role of global visibility in advocating for women’s safety rights, and the importance of platforms like Miss Universe. 

The second question to her was, “If you win the title of Miss Universe 2025 tonight, how would you use this platform to empower young girls?” The diva’s winning answer was, “Believe in the power of your authenticity. Believe in yourself, your dreams, and your heart, and never let anyone make you doubt your worth, because you are worth everything and you are powerful and your voice needs to be heard.”

Despite walking off on organizers, behind-the-scenes tension, brief walkouts during rehearsals, controversy, and personal challenges, the Mexican beauty took home the crown by transforming adversity into strength.
