Lemons for 850 Rupees? Man Compares Vegetable Prices in Norway and India, Sparks Debate Online

There are many videos that go viral online, where people compare the living costs of countries abroad to India. Many get an idea of what the cost of a lifestyle could be. After pointing out the significant price differential between vegetables in Europe and India, an Indian man who lives in Norway has ignited an online debate.

Vinod, the Instagram user, posted a video on X highlighting the exorbitant prices of certain veggies, such as organic lemons for roughly Rs. 850 per kilogram, tomatoes for Rs. 680 per kilogram and one cucumber for approximately Rs. 300. Huge, right? The difference is what grabs the internet’s attention.
