Ayodhya to Unveil the World’s First Ramayana-Themed Wax Museum This Deepotsav 2025

There’s something magical about Ayodhya, a city where faith breathes through the air, and every corner echoes with devotion. This Deepotsav 2025, Ayodhya is all set to create history once again. The city will open the doors to the world’s first Ramayana-themed wax museum, a place where the timeless story of Lord Ram will come alive in wax, light, and emotion.

Spread across 9,850 square feet and built at a cost of ₹6 crore, the museum is not just another tourist attraction; it’s a living tribute to faith and art. Located near the sacred Ram Ki Paidi, the site has been designed to let visitors step into the divine world of the Treta Yuga, where the Ramayana unfolded thousands of years ago.

As you walk through the two-storey museum, you’ll meet 50 lifelike wax figures capturing the most iconic moments from the epic from Lord Ram’s birth in Ayodhya to Sita’s swayamvar, and the heart-stirring tales of Lanka Dahan and Ravana’s fall. Each scene is crafted with painstaking detail, featuring 3D lighting, realistic costumes, and immersive soundscapes that transport you into the heart of the story.

Inside, the air hums softly with “Ram Tarak Mantra” and bhajans, wrapping you in a sense of calm and reverence. It feels less like a museum and more like stepping into a sacred time capsule where every statue has a soul, and every corner whispers the message of dharma, courage, and love.

To make sure every visitor truly soaks in the experience, entry is limited to 100 people per session, with tickets priced at ₹100 each. The Ayodhya Municipal Corporation manages the museum, and a portion of its earnings, 12% of the revenue, will go back into nurturing the city’s cultural and infrastructural growth.

From temperature-controlled interiors to guided digital tours, every detail has been carefully curated to blend spirituality with comfort, inviting devotees from across India and the world to experience the story of Lord Ram in a new, unforgettable way.

As Ayodhya prepares for Deepotsav 2025, with lakhs of diyas ready to illuminate the night sky, this museum becomes yet another radiant symbol of the city’s devotion. The Ram Mandir now stands tall, and this museum adds another chapter to Ayodhya’s divine rebirth, reminding us all that faith isn’t just remembered in prayers, but preserved in stories that continue to inspire generations.

Ayodhya isn’t just celebrating Deepotsav this year, it’s inviting the world to walk through its soul.
