Kia Carens Clavis EV has now launched with a battery as a service that is a Baas option at an amazing price. The Kia Carens Clavis EV, the first electric vehicle manufactured by Kia India in India, is now available with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) financing plan.
The initiative aims to make EV ownership significantly more accessible by providing clients with greater financial flexibility and the brand claims that the strategy has been created to promote the adoption of electric vehicles in India.
With the dual loan financing model, different loan accounts will be set up for the battery and chassis, providing more transparency and flexibility in EV ownership.
The program makes the experience of owning a Kia Clavis EV more approachable and focused on the consumer by providing financing schemes that start at Rs. 51,520 for the Carens Calvis EV and have an open battery payback schedule of Rs. 3.3 per kilometer.
The Kia Carens Clavis EV offers two battery pack options. One is 42 kWh and the other is 51.4 kWh. The power unit is coupled with a 99kW and 126kW output motor that boasts of producing 255 Nm of torque.
