World Test Championship 2027 Final: Date and Venue Announced, Check Details

The date and venue has been revealed for the World Test Championship 2027 Final. The Oval in London has been selected as the venue for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Final next year, which will take place from June 9 to June 13.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) would choose the venue for each championship game, according to the ICC website. The ICC had revealed last year that England would host the following three WTC Final seasons in 2027, 2029 and 2031. After 2023, the Oval is ready to host the championship for the second time.

With less than a year left, the current World Test Championship cycle is reaching its business end, with nine teams still vying for a spot in the final, ANI reports.

According to reports, because it coincides with celebrations commemorating 150 years of Test cricket, the 2027 edition will have even more historical importance, adding more prestige to a match that brings together the top two Test teams in the world over the previous two year cycle.
