Before co-hosts India take on the United States, the opening ceremony of the T20 World Cup is being held on Saturday at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, setting the stage for an exciting competition.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy is then introduced in spectacular fashion, with a jetpack performer bringing it into the stadium at a moment that is intended to capture the audience at the Wankhede Stadium. Rishab Sharma and Shivamani open the performance with a breathtaking musical medley, according to the reports.

With the official tournament logo serving as the main performance stage and the field of play serving as a single visual canvas, the event has been planned to mimic the speed and energy of T20 cricket. The show will conclude with an amazing pyrotechnic performance prior to the fireworks, which will begin at 7 pm IST with the match between India and the United States.

Ticket holders for the game will be the only ones allowed into the Opening Ceremony and those supporters are urged to arrive early so they don’t miss any of the spectacle.
