Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal’s Wedding Shenanigans Begin With a Bang

Indian star cricketer Smriti Mandhana and composer-filmmaker Palash Muchhal will exchange vows on November 23, 2025, in Sangli, Maharashtra. The Indian women’s cricket team is already buzzing with excitement, as seen in the reel posted by Smriti on her Instagram. It showed the Indian cricketer shaking a leg to the iconic Bollywood song Samjho Ho Hi Gaya from the 2006 film Lage Raho Munna Bhai. The star batter’s haldi ceremony took place on November 21, surrounded by her close friends and family, including Richa Ghosh and Jemimah Rodrigues.

The love story of Smriti Mandhana and Palash bloomed in 2019 with a chance meeting that gradually transformed into a deep, meaningful relationship. However, the couple has kept their private life away from the limelight for almost five years. 

On Friday, during their haldi ceremony, the bride and groom were spotted twinning in yellow while the guests too dressed up in marigold hues. Mandhana stunned in a bright yellow ensemble and a maang tika, whereas the groom-to-be looked dapper in an all-yellow traditional outfit. Palash was also seen leading the dance squad throughout the festivities.

On the other hand, Palash’s sister Palak Mucchal has been sharing glimpses of the celebrations, keeping fans updated on Smriti and Palash’s wedding shenanigans. After a ‘colourful’ Haldi ceremony, the couple’s mehendi ceremony made fans go ga ga. Smriti Mandhana was spotted in a purple ensemble, adorned with intricate designs, perfectly complementing the festive mood. The groom, Palash, wore a cream kurta with an embroidered jacket, lending a touch of elegance. Their friends and team members were actively engaging in the wedding rituals, sharing laughter, and posing for photographs.
