Lionel Messi to Visit Hyderabad as a Part of His ‘GOAT Tour of India’ Next Month

The Argentine football icon is an inspiration to millions worldwide, and Messi GOAT Tour of India 2025 is sure to be a golden opportunity to witness, meet, and greet the superstar. It is a full-fledged, planned multi-city tour which will be hosted next month, in December 2025. The tour includes stops in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi. Here’s what you can expect!

Recently, the World Cup-winning captain announced his Hyderabad leg, post his visit to Kolkata. The football legend will later head to Mumbai and New Delhi, where he is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The 38-year-old sportsman will travel across four major metros, making the GOAT Tour one of the most extensive athlete-led engagements ever planned in India. He took to Instagram and shared the good news with fans and followers, captioning his post, “Thanks for all the love from India! The GOAT tour kicks off in a few weeks’ time!!! I’m happy to share that Hyderabad has been added to my visits to Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi.

The sole organiser of the ‘GOAT Tour to India 2025’, Satadru Dutta, told PTI that Lionel’s event in Hyderabad will be held at either Gachibowli or Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. The tour will consist of a celebrity match, a football clinic, a felicitation, and a musical programme.

Kerala Sports Minister V Abdurahiman had originally announced the friendly in Kochi on November 17. However, due to logistical complications, it was canceled. The Hyderabad leg was announced thereafter. Messi’s tour will kick off on December 13 in Kolkata, then the same evening in Hyderabad. On December 14, he will fly to Mumbai and wrap up the tour in New Delhi on December 15. Tickets for the GOAT Tour are available in different price ranges, starting from Rs 3,500 to Rs 50,000 for premium experiences.
