According to Jornal da Madeira report, Ronaldo and his fiancée will tie the knot in the summer of 2026. As per reports, the footballer and model are set to host their wedding ceremony at the historic Funchal Cathedral, the oldest church on the island, which dates back to 1514. The church is nestled two miles away from the hospital where Ronaldo was born. Moreover, the wedding is expected to be followed by a reception at an opulent hotel nearby. 

Not to forget, Madeira holds a special place in his heart. Its airport is named after him, and the island also has a museum dedicated to his illustrious career. The youth club, Nacional da Madeira, where Ronaldo began his football career before moving to Sporting Lisbon at age twelve, is also situated nearby. It is heart-warming to see the couple choosing their roots rather than an extravagant wedding location.
