Viral: Woman on Why She Left Mumbai For A Small Town Job, Explains What Changed
Shifting from one city to another is what is required if you get a job or promotion. But a woman chooses a small town job over her job in the city of Mumbai. She has explained the shift by sharing a video which is going viral on social media. The post was shared by Dr. Garima Chauhan. She left Mumbai as a first generation doctor to work in a small town, according to the post.
Dr. Chauhan stated that she had recently arrived from work in a hospital vehicle provided by her employer. Whenever there is an emergency, the hospital always sends a car to pick her up, she continued.
She compared this to her previous daily routine in Mumbai, where she had to get up early to catch an overcrowded train and stand throughout the ride. She also remembered how her salary was decreased if she was held back all of a sudden. This demanding everyday schedule, according to Dr. Chauhan, was the primary cause of her choice to move from Mumbai. She also stated that she and her husband rented a tiny apartment in the city for Rs. 30,000 a month.
She claimed, however, that her present work offers a big two bedroom flat with two balconies at no expense, making her new life much more pleasant. Mumbai is her house, her family lives there and a piece of her heart will always be there, so leaving it was one of the hardest things she has ever done, she said.
She stated that she now understands why she made that choice six months later. Success, she said, is not always about dwelling in the largest metropolis; rather, it is sometimes about selecting a life that provides peace, time and balance.
