When it comes to living in an urban city, we need to manage our expenses, income and savings. Currently, a woman who lives in Bengaluru has shared a post on her expenses per month after paying her obligations such as rent.

After providing a thorough analysis of her monthly expenses as a solo resident, she started a discussion about the city’s living costs on social media. What it takes to support her lifestyle in a one bedroom apartment in HSR Layout, one of Bengaluru’s most sought-after residential areas, was recently outlined in a video uploaded by product manager Shruti.

According to her, the video was motivated by a question from her followers asking where she resides and how much she spends on rent. Shruti stated in the video where she lives and also mentioned she pays Rs. 36,000 per month rent for her 1BHK. In addition, she pays about Rs. 5,000 per month for leased furniture and household appliances. Shruti said that in addition to rent, she spends about Rs. 4,000 per month on housekeeping and power costs.

Between Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 8,000 each month are her average meal costs. To keep expenses down, she said, she prepares the majority of her meals at home and attempts to follow a balanced diet. Transportation, which ranges from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 5,000 every month, is another major cost for her.

Additionally, she spends about Rs. 5,000 each month on Pilates classes, gym memberships and other fitness related activities. Shruti confessed that the sum fluctuates from month to month and is greatly influenced by her degree of self-control when it comes to coffee outings, dining out and late night cravings. She playfully opted not to divulge those data when it came to impulse buys and shopping. Many are reacting to her video with similar experiences and also discussing the cost of living and income.
