Zepto Secures First Rank in LinkedIn’s 2025 Mumbai Startups List
On October 15, 2025, LinkedIn released its Top Startups list, and Zepto, the 10-minute grocery delivery platform operating in over 50 cities, ranks high. With around 419 full-time employees, it tops LinkedIn’s annual list of top start-ups in Mumbai, Delhi, as well as Bengaluru. While in the Pune list, it is positioned at number two after electric mobility start-up, EMotorad. This start-up has a total headcount of 5704 across India. One can find an extensive range of more than 45,000 products, right from fresh groceries to electronics, beauty essentials, apparel, toys, and more.
Snabbit, a platform offering on-demand home services like house cleaning, bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, laundry help, and other maid services in 10 minutes, secures seventh position in the annual LinkedIn Top Startups list. The list identifies innovators by assessing start-ups on criteria such as employee growth, jobseeker interest, member engagement with the company and its employees, and their ability to attract talent.
Who Is the Founder of Zepto?
Zepto was founded by Aadit Palicha and Kaivalya Vohra in 2021. With a net worth of Rs 3,600 crore, 21-year-old Kaivalya Vohra ranks among the top 10 ‘Self-Made Entrepreneurs of the Millennia’ 2024. Both are dropouts from a computer science degree program at Stanford University. Their company achieved remarkable success, with a 259% growth in valuation, reaching a staggering Rs. 41,800 crore. The entrepreneurs have etched their name in history as the youngest billionaires of India.
