The Argentine maestro has arrived in India. On Saturday, Lionel Messi landed in Kolkata where he received a warm welcome. At the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, he was welcomed by a large crowd of enthusiastic fans. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan also arrived in Kolkata to meet Messi. Both clicked a photo together, which is now gaining attention on social media. Shah Rukh Khan was accompanied by his son, AbRam. AbRam also took a photo with the football legend.

On December 11, SRK hinted to his followers about meeting the football icon in Kolkata. According to his post on X, he mentioned, “This time, I’m not scheduling my Knight in Kolkata and I’m wishing for the day Ride to fully reflect ‘Messi’. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the 13th at the Salt Lake Stadium.”

On Saturday evening, after the Kolkata visit, Messi will be arriving in Hydrabad at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium. Lionel Messi is currently on his GOAT India tour in 2025, which will be held in four cities, like Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai and New Delhi. The event in Mumbai is scheduled for Sunday, December 14, at Wankhede Stadium.

As per reports, various Bollywood stars such as John Abraham, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff and others are likely to meet the football legend while in Mumbai. Messi’s event in Mumbai is sponsored by Rubics Realty, who made such a big moment happen. Project Mahadeva will be launched by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Lionel Messi together.
