Watch: Tourists Capture Rare Red Fox Spotted Near Pangong Tso In Ladakh
In Ladakh, a rare red fox was seen. The tourist was stunned and unable to leave without capturing the fox in the camera. In Ladakh, close to Pangong Tso, a red fox was spotted. A video was shared on social media which is now gaining popularity and internet users are raving about it.
In a viral video posted to Instagram by a user by the name of Vibhor Srivastava, the fox is seen approaching the car, which the traveler described as leaving him speechless.
“Nature & Travel Vibe. When Ladakh surprises you with its wild beauty. Stopped by Pangong Tso and met this beautiful red fox – a moment I’ll never forget. Nature always knows how to leave you speechless,” the caption reads. As the video spread, social media users responded with amazement.
The creature was a red fox, but at first, several visitors mistook it for a wolf because of its pointy ears and thick tail. Other tourists immediately emphasized that feeding wild animals is strictly forbidden by the authorities when one tourist suggested offering them food.
The Department of Wildlife Protection, UT of Ladakh, successfully rescued and rehabilitated a red fox from Spituk Farka, Leh, in June. Following a month of treatment and rehabilitation at the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre (WRRC), the red fox was released into its own territory in July, adhering to all the necessary procedures.
