Video: Heavy Metal Trunk Dangles From Train Window, Netizens Raise Safety Concerns; Railways React

A video is going viral where a family travels with a heavy metal trunk, and that trunk is definitely not carried safely. It was dangled outside a train window, and this act has now raised concerns about safety and irresponsibility while traveling.

Indian Railways has responded after a video of a massive metal trunk hanging outside the window of a moving train coach became popular on social media. The video, which was uploaded by an X account, shows a metal trunk poking out slightly from the windows of a train car in motion. A large portion of the luggage is still outside the train, while two passengers can be seen holding it from within the compartment.

Sharing the video, the social media user raised questions about how the passenger managed to carry such a bulky box from the bus station and voiced worries that it might ultimately collide with a pole or another object along the road. People were questioning the safety of the passengers and overall, about the travel discipline.

Railway Seva asked the user to share the station name, train number, and mobile number in response to the popular video. Additionally, it stated that complaints may be submitted straight to RailMadad for a rapid resolution or by calling 139 for assistance.
