There are significant changes in the weather. High temperatures and humidity were experienced in many parts of India during the first week of March. However, several areas of the North and Maharashtra are seeing unusual rains as we approach the second week. Following the rain, India is now covered by a massive cloud. A satellite photo has been displayed by the IMD.
India appeared covered by a large sheet of thick clouds on Friday, as satellite imagery showed the extensive effects of a strong Western Disturbance moving through the northern areas of the nation.
This system, led by a noticeable trough line, has caused moderate to heavy rainfall in many areas, especially in North India. Weather forecasts indicate that the next 6 to 8 hours are crucial for northern states, as the strongest part of the trough is located near this region.
A trough line is a slender area of reduced air pressure in the atmosphere where air moves up, creating clouds and frequently leading to rain or storms. This has led to occasional but intense rain showers, along with thunderstorms and strong winds in certain regions of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh.
