Bittu Tabahi, received widespread praise for his river cleaning initiative. Now, he is being praised by Industrialist Anand Mahindra. Anand Mahindra has shared an X post commending him.

In Madhya Pradesh, he commended the group’s work put into cleaning the Ajmar River and acknowledged the efforts of 21 year old Surendra Singh Choudhary, more commonly known as Bittu Tabahi. Mahindra stated that he was struck by the story’s growth beyond a single person’s attempts into a community driven project.

“I’ve often applauded young people like Bittu Tabahi who simply decided they’d had enough of seeing our water bodies neglected, rolled up their sleeves and got to work. Choudhary is from Biaora in the Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh. Later videos show an obviously clear strength of the river and he published multiple videos detailing his efforts to clean up the Ajnar River.
