The most awaited Vande Bharat sleeper train to launch soon. Now, the inside view of this lavish train is out. The train is going to launch this month, according to the reports. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the first Vande Bharat sleeper train, which is slated to begin in the middle to late of January 2026, along the Guwahati-Howrah line.

Everybody is excited about traveling by this lavish train. Traveling between Guwahati, Assam and Howrah, West Bengal, the train will travel between 1,200 and 1,500 kilometers overnight. Numerous regions in Assam, North Bengal and West Bengal, including Kamrup Metropolitan, Bongaigaon, Coochbehar, Jalpaiguri, Maldah, Murshidabad, Purba Bardhaman, Hooghly and Howrah, benefit from the route, as per the reports.

There are 16 completely air conditioned carriages on the train that may hold 823 passengers in various classes. There are 11 AC 3 tier coaches, four AC 2 tier coaches and one AC First Class coach to meet a variety of passenger demands. Let’s have a look at its first ever glimpse, shared by ANI.

Train’s Features

  • Enhanced ride comfort due to superior suspension and lower noise levels.

The train has the most recent anti collision system, KAVACH safety system, CCTV cameras, automated doors as well as sophisticated fire safety features and a real time communication network connecting loco pilots, train managers and station masters for safety.
