The temperature in Mumbai and the surrounding areas begins to increase in early March. According to reports, unusual showers are expected to arrive by March 19-20, which will provide residents with respite from the heat.
The weather throughout many regions of India has undergone a dramatic transformation since the extreme heat wave of early March and unseasonal rainfall is now being recorded. The unexpected rain is predicted to be caused by shifting atmospheric circumstances, according to forecasts.
It’s possible that a severe heatwave won’t start until mid April as a result of the additional rainstorms that are expected to hit numerous states starting on March 18. The India Meteorological Department forecasts that a new western disturbance will become active over northwest India starting on the night of March 17. Consequently, between March 18 and March 20, Vidarbha, Marathwada and northern Maharashtra are anticipated to experience pre-monsoon rains along with thunderstorms.
For Mumbai, a rain advisory has also been issued for March 19 and 20. Temperatures may decrease significantly due to the anticipated rain. As pre-monsoon activity picks up, general temperatures are expected to drop, providing much needed respite from the warmth. Many areas of India are predicted to have intermittent rain and colder temperatures due to the changing weather patterns.
