June 2026 Bank Holidays: Banks To Remain Closed for 11 Days, Check Details
Before heading out for the bank visits, let’s check out the bank holiday list for June. Customers should plan their visits well in advance this month as banks will be remaining closed for 11 days, according to the reports.
In the month of May, due to the first, third and the fifth Saturday, banks will open and customers can plan their banking tasks well in advance to the schedule they had for the month. These months, on two Saturdays, the bank will remain open. Banks nationwide are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, in addition to festival-related shutdowns, in accordance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) rules.
June 13, 27: Saturdays
June 7, 14, 21, 28: Sundays
Overall, banks will be shut for 11 days in June, which includes two Saturdays and four Sundays.

- Mizoram and Odisha celebrate Raja Sankranti/YMA Day on June 15th.
- Moharram holiday in Andhra Pradesh on June 25.
- Muharram (Yaom-EShadath)/Last Day of Moharam/Ashoora is a holiday everywhere on June 26, except Gujarat, Odisha, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Assam, Manipur, Rajasthan, Kerala, Goa, Andhra Pradesh and other places.
- Himachal Pradesh celebrates Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti on June 29.
- Mizoram observes June 30 as Remna Ni, a peace day holiday.
