A woman who spends a lot of money moving to Delhi after finishing her IIM education is the victim of heinous fraud in a situation where everyone should exercise extreme caution.

An IIM Bodh Gaya graduate with an MBA has claimed that the job offer she received in Delhi was financially and emotionally exhausting because the address given to her by the company’s office was allegedly nonexistent. After receiving an offer letter and a confirmed joining date from the company, a female graduate and an MBA alumnus, said in a LinkedIn article that she had relocated to Delhi.

When she arrived in the city alone, thinking her job was safe, she claimed she had spent nearly Rs. 75,000 on moving, housing and associated costs.

Her article states that when she arrived at the office site given by the company on May 4, the situation took a worrisome turn. She said that the address had no working office and that she waited outside for about two hours, repeatedly attempting to get in touch with company officials.

She asserted that she subsequently learned that the office space was no longer leased. Nevertheless, she asserted that the company kept reassuring her that the onboarding procedure was ongoing and that her employee ID was being created in anticipation of a potential remote work agreement.

She claimed that the company repeatedly postponed her onboarding process and kept asking her to wait a few more days over the next few weeks. She eventually stated that she was informed there would be no onboarding until July.

The graduate further claimed that the CEO of the company blocked her calls and social media accounts and ceased replying to her messages when she asked for compensation for the charges, despite prior pledges of support.
