As of October 29, no formal announcement has been made regarding changes in LPG prices for November 1, 2026. Before booking a refill, customers are advised to verify the most recent pricing published by their LPG provider.

According to a government announcement dated October 26, the Indian government intends to implement simplified rules for post-sale discounts under the goods and services tax and expedite provisional refunds for companies experiencing inverted duty structures starting on November 1, according to Reuters.

The 2026-27 budget contained the declaration of the measures. Pension payments must be maintained without break by government pensioners through the submission of an annual life certificate. From October 1, pensioners 80 years old and older may turn in their life certificates; from November 1, those younger than 80 years old may do so. November 30 is typically the deadline for submissions each year.

The Income Tax Department has prolonged the return submission deadline for particular taxpayers whose accounts are subject to audit. The deadline for these taxpayers to submit income tax returns for Assessment Year 2026-27 has been extended from October 31 to November 21, 2026. Not all persons, but only those in qualified taxpayer categories, are covered by the extension.
