Crime News: Hyderabad Woman Ends Life Over Alleged Dowry Harassment

A woman who is independent, working, ambitious ends life in a tragic way over an alleged dowry harassment. The shocking news is coming from Hyderabad, where a young woman died by suicide after harassment due to dowry pressure by her husband.

According to the reports, a newly married couple faced disputes over a dowry, which resulted in a tragic ending. According to police, a 26 year old software engineer from Bihar purportedly committed suicide at her apartment in the Miyapur neighborhood of Hyderabad’s Cyberabad after her husband allegedly harassed her for more dowry.

On Wednesday night, Ishita Yadav was discovered dangling from the ceiling fan in the hall of her residence. After discovering her, her husband Neeraj Bhansal informed the authorities. Ishita and Neeraj connected via social media in 2020, according to the sources. Neeraj was a native of Madhya Pradesh, whereas Ishita came from Bihar. After nearly five years of dating, the couple tied the knot in Patna on February 20 of this year with their relatives present.

The pair relocated to Hyderabad after getting married, where they both worked in a software company. The victim’s father claims that disagreements between them increased after Neeraj purportedly began harassing and pressuring Ishita for further dowry and also insisted that her family invest in his newly established business.
