‘Chawl Life with Luxury’, Man Shows Living Conditions in Noida’s High Rise Building, Sparks Debate Online
A man showed the reality of living in a city like Noida, where the residential situation is similar to chawl life but with high quality upkeep. He has expressed his dissatisfaction at the fact that the promise had not lived up to the expectations for which he had already paid the high cost of living in a high rise apartment in a city like Noida.
He voices his displeasure and asks if these high rise flats actually provide the luxury that is often expected. He claimed that although the structures are marketed as upscale residential towers with amenities and everything else, the reality or what we call it as actual living experience after obtaining the keys, is different. For the people living there, he listed the overcrowding, inadequate infrastructure and recurrent operating difficulties as significant issues.
Each tower in his society, he said, has roughly 175 apartments and there are between 350 and 400 people living in each building. According to his experience, the current infrastructure cannot even support the level of occupancy.
He emphasized the lengthy wait times caused by the fact that each tower only has two elevators. He also noted that the strain on the remaining lifts increases anytime a lift malfunctions, making daily movement challenging for the residents. As his video spreads throughout the internet, several people are reacting to it. Although many people disagree with his description, the internet is now comparing his experience to their own and the video has sparked debate on social media.
