Bengaluru CEO Fixes Broken Footpath Himself after Years of Complaints, Post Viral

A post is going viral where a Bengaluru-based entrepreneur reveals that he repaired a broken footpath. Many complaints were issued but never addressed. He has shared the before and after photographs of the footpath repair work.

Bharat Agri founder and CEO Siddharth Dialani claims he decided to fix a footpath near his housing society in Koramangala himself after being irritated that it had been broken for years despite several complaints to civic authorities. Dialani stated in a social media message that he had sent emails to the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA), filed complaints with the BBMP, raised a service ticket and even got in touch with the agency via its WhatsApp helpline.

But he stated that none of his complaints were addressed. He said he took matters into his own hands and spent Rs. 2,700, including labor and cement expenses, to construct a ramp on the damaged area, as the problem was purportedly still unattended.

The footpath near my society at Koramangala has been broken since years! I complained to BBMP, sent email to GBA, raised ticket and chatted with their WA helpline but got no response. The restoration, according to Dialani, will make it simpler for senior people in wheelchairs and parents with strollers to use the pavement. In 2020, Forbes India’s 30 Under 30 list included Dialani, the CEO and founder of Bharat Agri. His post has since gone viral, with before and after photographs showcasing the repaired area of the footpath.
