Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to flag off the Pune-Danapur Amrit Bharat Express from Hadapsar railway station on Wednesday, June 17. It is the first direct train between the two stations.

“This will be Pune Division’s second Amrit Bharat train and Maharashtra’s eighth, giving affordable transportation for the common man,” the ministry stated in a press release. According to the announcement, the service will provide a consistent link for families during holidays such as Holi, Diwali and Chhath Puja, assist small traders and aid patients travelling to Pune’s specialist hospitals and Patna’s medical centers.

Every Saturday at 15:30, the 11431 Pune-Danapur Amrit Bharat Express will depart Pune and arrive at Danapur, Bihar, at 01:30 on Monday. It further stated that the new Amrit Bharat Express would link Maharashtra to Jharkhand, Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh directly and reasonably. Every Monday at 03:30 hours, the Danapur-Pune Amrit Bharat Express, number 11432, will leave Danapur and arrive in Pune at 11:05 hours on Tuesday.

Among the stations where it will halt are Ahilyanagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Cheokki, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar and Ara.
