While going for international travel, staying connected is important. Now, travel SIM cards will be provided by Air India to travellers for their overseas trips. Air India has teamed up with Tata Communications to produce EasyRoam, a branded travel SIM card that provides international roaming services.

On Thursday, the airline announced in a statement that the additional product would be sold as a physical SIM card and as an e-SIM on a specific Air India branded webpage, reports PTI.

As mentioned above, in partnership with Tata Communications, Air India has launched EasyRoam, a branded physical SIM and e-SIM service that offers outbound passengers international voice and data roaming across 30 initial countries across North America, Europe (including the UK), Australia, Asia Pacific and the Middle East with plans starting at Rs. 241 (excluding taxes), with prices varying by destination and plan selected, as said in the release.

Passengers will be able to use the card to get access to voice and data services while traveling overseas. The Tata Group comprises Tata Communications and Air India. While roaming pack fees will be extra, the SIM card will first be provided at no cost.
