Zakir Khan’s acclaimed Papa Yaar, a stand-up special packed with grit and heart-warming banter, is all set to stream on Netflix on Sept. 18, 2026. Taking to his official social media handle, the comedian shared a poster of his show. He wrote, “Papa aa rahe hai aur apan toh ready hi hain yaar. Watch Papa Yaar by Zakir Khan, out 18 September, only on Netflix. @zakirkhan_208.” The newly dropped poster features him from behind as he looks out toward the audience. He is spotted wearing a denim jacket with ‘Khan Sahab Ka Beta’ (Khan Sahab’s Son), embroidered in gold Devanagari script on the back.

Papa Yaar by Zakir Khan is a soul-stirring exploration of a father-child relationship that evolves with time. Through personal anecdotes, grit, and reflection, Zakir Khan captivates the audience with what he does best: humour! 

Talking about the show, he shared that Papa Yaar is his way of extending gratitude toward his father, and all the fathers who quietly shape their ward to be a better person.
