Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups Dismisses Its June Release, Makers to Announce New Release Date Soon
Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, starring Yash, has been postponed again, from its earlier June 4 release, to allow for a wider global rollout. Initially, the film was planned to hit the cinema halls on March 19, 2026. Due to the rising tensions in the Middle East, which is also a good market for the film, the makers decided to push its anticipated release to June 4, 2026. However, a few months before its cinematic arrival, the makers released an official statement, announcing that the action drama had been pushed. The new release date will be unveiled by the makers soon.

KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the makers of the film, on Wednesday announced that the release of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups had been rescheduled. The decision follows the film’s presentation at CinemaCon, where it received a strong and encouraging response from global distributors and industry stakeholders.
In a public statement, actor Yash, stated, “There are films we make, and then there are films that remind us why we fell in love with cinema. Toxic has been one such journey. Presenting our film at CinemaCon and witnessing the overwhelming global response reaffirmed what we have always believed—that this film deserves to reach its fullest potential worldwide.” Though the news disappointed a few fans and movie lovers, the buzz around the film remains.
Yash emphasised that the film is fully shot and edited, thereby denying any possibility of a delay due to post-production work. The actor-producer also underlined that the film’s release date would be planned for audiences beyond India. For the unversed, Toxic was one of the few Indian films presented at CinemaCon 2026. Talking about the same, Yash shared, “As an actor and producer, I see this moment as an opportunity to do my part—for the Indian film industry and for all of us—by taking the time to ensure our film reaches the world with the impact it is meant to have (sic). Nonetheless, the movie buffs can enjoy Varun Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hai on June 5, 2026.
