Welcome to the Jungle Title Track OUT: Akshay Kumar and Massive Star Cast Revisit the OG Peppy Song

After years of anticipation, Uday Shetty is back and how! Since the day Welcome 3 was announced, fans have been desperately waiting for further updates on the release date and cast. Now that Welcome to the Jungle is hitting the cinema halls on June 26, the makers have been releasing trailers and songs. Led by Akshay Kumar and a massive star cast, the film and its promotional activities have been striking the right chords in the hearts. On May 18, the title track was unveiled, leaving fans ecstatic as it revisits the OG peppy number. 

Set in the jungle, the title song brings back the old flavor of the Welcome franchise, which began in 2007. The entire cast and crew have successfully preserved the originality of the narrative and its key elements, including the dialogue. Take a closer look at the chartbuster song.

Welcome to the Jungle Title Track Rides Us Down the Memory Lane

The title track of Akshay Kumar’s Welcome to the Jungle kicks off with the iconic dialogue of Uday Shetty, essayed by Nana Patekar, “Aalu lelo…kaande lelo.” The song gradually unfolds and introduces the star cast, including Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, Tusshar Kapoor, and Johnny Lever. They prominent characters are later joined by Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Aftab Shivdasani, Mukesh Tiwari, Yashpal Sharma, Kiran Kumar, Zakir Hussain, Vindu Dara Singh, Urvashi Rautela, Hemant Pandey, Brijendra Kala, Feroze Khan(Arjun), Late Pankaj Dheer, Puneet Issar, Sudesh Berry, Jeetu Verma, Vrihi Kodvara, Adityaa Singgh, and Bhagya Bhanushali.

Voiced by Shaan, Priya Patidar, and Vikram Montrose, the song keeps the focus on the comic energy and nostalgia linked with the franchise. Penned by Meggha Bali, Vikram Montrose has revamped and produced the soundtrack. While the original composition is by Sajid-Wajid. As the song unfolds, nostalgic energy and new-age beats can be sensed. 

Director Ahmed Khan stated that they wanted every song in Welcome To The Jungle to feel cinematic, entertaining, and mounted on a massive scale. He believes that music plays a huge role in building the world and energy of the film. All in all, fans and movie fanatics can’t wait for the film to show off its magic on the silver screen starting from June 26, 2026.
