Welcome to the Jungle Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar’s Comedy Drama Minted Over Rs 15 Cr on Day 1

Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited comedy drama has finally hit the theatres. Without a doubt, the film has garnered positive reviews from fans and cinephiles worldwide. According to industry Sacnilk, the film raked in Rs 15.25 crore on its first day of release. A day prior, the drama minted Rs 3.75 crore. As of day 2, the film collected Rs 20 crore, bringing the film’s total collection to Rs 46.80 crore gross. 

Talking about the overseas collection, the film collected Rs 6 crore on Day 2, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 10.70 crore. This pushes the worldwide gross collection to Rs 57.50 crore.

Welcome to the Jungle has been performing well at the box office since the day of its release. Additionally, the film registered a full-fledged opening of Rs. 14.80 crore nett on Friday, June 26. Over the weekend, the film managed to find better traction, especially in the evening and night shows. The occupancy gradually improved through the day, with morning shows registering 11 percent, afternoon shows 26.85 percent, evening shows 28.85 percent, and night shows peaking at 39.15 percent.
