Vishwanath And Sons Trailer: Suriya, Mamitha Baiju’s Family Drama Offers Comedy And Emotions With an Age-Gap Romance

One of the most anticipated trailers of “Vishwanath And Sons” has finally been unveiled. Helmed by Lucky Bhaskar-fame Venky Atluri, the film promises age-gap romance and family drama. Starring Suriya and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, it is packed with humour and emotional moments. Slated to hit the theatrical screens on Aug. 14, 2026, the trailer offers a glimpse into the world of Sanjay Vishwanath, an international pistol shooter played by Suriya. 

Besides the leads, the film boasts a stellar cast including Radikaa Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon, Nasser, Sudha, Raghu Babu, Sunil Reddy, Bhavani Sri, Viva Harsha, Kaali Venkat, George Maryan, Hyper Aadhi, Srija Ravi, Sarvadaman Banerjee, Mathew Varghese, Kalyani Natarajan, Karate Karthik, and Master Charvik in pivotal roles.

On Friday, the makers took to their social media timelines to unveil the trailer of “Vishwanath And Sons.” Sharing the sneak peek on social media, the makers wrote, “A trailer full of heart… A story full of soul… An experience waiting to be embraced by every family. #VishwanathAndSons Trailer is out now.” No sooner did they reveal the trailer than fans and movie buffs flooded the comments section with anticipation and excitement. 

The 2-minute-29-second trailer introduces Sanjay, a wealthy man whose life takes a dramatic turn when his son needs a bone marrow transplant. The trailer shows Sanjay, played by Suriya, searching for a suitable donor and travelling abroad in the hope of finding one. During his journey, he meets Maddy, Mamitha Baiju’s character. Her entry into his life sets off a chain of events, particularly after she confesses her feelings for him.

Talking about his 40-year-old character, Suriya shared, “Everybody changes, we do and so will our partner. Your priorities are different at the age of 20, 25, or 30. Your thinking might change, you life can take any direction. But the love and affection you have for your partner should never change.” As the trailer unfolds, their relationship develops and emotional layers tied to Sanjay’s past surface on the top, raising questions about where their journey together will lead.
