Kunal Kemmu and Preity Zinta’s “Vibe” received a mixed response on the first day of its much-awaited release. Many viewers applauded the actors’ commanding screen presence, comic timing, and captivating narrative, while a few felt the second half of the film dragged and was less interesting. Despite the mixed reactions from fans and early moviegoers, the spy comedy has performed well at the box office.

Locking horns with Kareena Kapoor and Prithviraj’s “Daayra,” the film outshone its competitor, minting Rs 1.70 crore on the first day. Here’s what the industry tracker Sacnilk’s data says.

Speaking about the film’s gross collections, “Vibe” has hit the 2 crore mark by minting Rs 2.24 crore. As the weekend approaches, the spy comedy drama may see a stronger response at the box office.

Meanwhile, “Daayra” has achieved a gross collection of Rs 1.29 crore. Undoubtedly, the numbers make it quite evident that “Vibe” has been leading the race at the ticket window despite the frenzy around “Mirzapur: The Movie” and “Hanuman Ansh.”
