US Actress Hayden Panettiere, Heroes and Nashville Fame, Passes Away at 36

On Sunday night, US actress Hayden Panettiere, renowned for her performance in “Heroes and Nashville”, passed away at the age of 36. Her representative confirmed the news of her sad demise to ABC News. Additionally, her father also announced her passing, calling her an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy. All in all, the actor, singer, and former child star’s demise has left a legacy of memorable movies and television moments. The cause of death hasn’t been disclosed by her team or family members. 

Hayden Panettiere Breathed Her Last at 36

Panettiere, who would have turned 37 this Friday, passed away on Sunday. Her father, Skip Panettiere, shared a statement mourning his daughter, which read, “It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen.” He further requested privacy by writing, “as our family takes time to process this unimaginable loss.”

Born in 1989, she was widely recognized at the age of 17 as Claire Bennet in Heroes and later earned praise for playing Juliette Barnes in the musical drama Nashville. In 2000, she rose to fame for playing Sheryl Yoast, the football-loving young daughter of coach Bill Yoast, in the biographical sports drama “Remember the Titans.” On the other hand, she also bagged two Golden Globe nominations for her performance as the troubled country music star Juliette Barnes on Nashville.

In 2014, Panettiere gave birth to her daughter, Kaya Klitschko, whom she had with her ex-fiancé, the Ukrainian heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko. In 2018, she gave custody to Klitschko to focus on recovering from what she called a horrible cycle of years of battling depression and anxiety, alcoholism, and substance abuse.
