The trailer of the most anticipated film of the year, “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups,” was unveiled on Aug. 8, 2026. Two days have passed, but the buzz surrounding the film, the actors’ performances, visuals, narrative, and so much more doesn’t seem to fade. Fans and movie buffs, both, have taken to their social media timelines to share their predictions, views, and first-hand responses after watching the trailer.

Slated to release in theatres on August 26, 2026, the 4-minute-and-38-second glimpse explores a nightmarish battle between a chaotic father and his violent son. Alongside Rocking Star Yash’s dual role, the audience and other celebrities have been applauding the overall masterpiece, which is yet to arrive in the cinema halls. Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups Trailer Revealed

On Aug. 8, the nearly five-minute promo was launched in Bengaluru, Karnataka, at an event in the presence of actors such as Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. Helmed by Geetu Mohandas, the film garnered attention from a global audience with its explosive action sequences, striking visuals, captivating storytelling, and impeccable on-screen performance of the star cast. The trailer introduces a whole bunch of characters into its dark and chaotic world, with gangsters, complicated relationships, revenge, and enough violence to keep things suitably toxic. 

Fans and celebs immediately took to their social media feeds to share their two cents about the trailer. Actor-filmmaker Rishab Shetty took to his Instagram handle and offered his best wishes to the cast and crew. Sharing the trailer he wrote, “A perfect invitation to the world of Raya. This is rest assured that his journey will be an action packed entertainer with Rock steady foundation by brilliant performances. @thenameisyash waiting to see you on big screen sir. A fan took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise Kiara’s performance by writing, “The Scariest Part of Trailer, NATIONAL AWARD LOADING for Kiara Advani. She is Menace.”  Sharing the trailer, Kiara’s husband, Sidharth Mahaltra, too praised the work and expressed his excitement about seeing it on the big screen. He wrote, “The effort, the grind, the passion – it’s all going to show on the big screen. Going to be one of your bests, Ki!!
