Toxic – A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups: Yash Reveals First Look of Kiara Advani as ‘Nadia’

The new mom, Kiara Advani, is all set to return to the theatres on March 19, 2026, with a bang. The actress will be starring as ‘Nadia’ in the upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups, headlined by South star Yash. 

On December 21, 2025, the actor took to Instagram to drop the first look of Kiara in the most-awaited film. Introducing her as ‘Nadai’, the 34-year-old sported a black, off-shoulder, thigh-high slit gown. Additionally, she is seen standing in the spotlight on a dance floor, looking away from the camera with a pensieve stare. Take a closer look!

Kiara Advani’s First Look as Nadia

Kiara’s goth-like appearance garnered the attention of fans and movie fanatics within a few minutes of its unveiling. After carefully inspecting the poster, they compared her look with iconic characters from Tim Burton films and the DC character Harley Quinn. Moreover, the comment section was flooded with praises, best wishes, and love. Set against a circus backdrop, Nadia’s expression speaks volumes. It suggest grief and melancholy beneath the lit spectacle. Though tears can be spotted running down her cheeks, her character is expected to be powerful and convincing. Husband, Sidharth Malhotra, and industry friends like Shraddha Kapoor praised her bold transformation.

Responding to the sea of appreciation, Kiara Advani couldn’t help but share a heart-warming note on her Instagram story. It read, “A role that demanded more from me – physically, mentally, emotionally, and felt nothing short of transformative. My toughest one yet. Months of hard work. One fearless leap.” 

Directed by Geethu Mohandas and produced by VN Productions and Monster Mind Creation, the edge-of-your-seat drama will premiere in theatres on March 19, 2026. The movie will compete at the box office with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 and Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit.

Toxic is the first Indian film to be simultaneously shot in two languages, including English and Kannada. Apart from Yash and Kiara Advani, the film also stars Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair. Post the release of KGF, Kannada star Yash has gained pan-India stardom. Having said that, fans have already presumed Toxic to be the star’s next blockbuster.
