Bridgerton actress Simone Ashley is all set to garner all attention with her next film This Tempting Madness, in the pipeline. Slated to arrive in the cinema halls on June 12, the makers just released the trailer, leaving fans and the audience hooked. Helmed by Jennifer E. Montgomery, the film stars Simone Ashley, Suraj Sharma, and Austin Stowell in lead roles. The other cast, which includes Mojean Aria, Amol Shah, and Zenobia Shroff. 

On Wednesday, May 7, 2026, the makers teased the audience by dropping a captivating trailer of the psychological thriller centred on distorted perception and blurred lines between reality and delusion. Here’s what to expect!

This Tempting Madness Trailer Unveiled: What to Expect?

In This Tempting Madness, Bridgerton star Simone Ashley essays the role of Mia, who awakens from a coma, grievously injured, her memory fractured. As she puts the pieces of her past together, she starts to question her own actions and her perception of reality. In a nutshell, the film’s plot follows the journey of Ashley as an unreliable narrator, intercutting between her memories and the present.

For the unversed, the film marks the feature directorial debut of Jennifer E. Montgomery, who co-wrote the screenplay with cinematographer Andrew M. Davis. Bankrolled by Smoke Jumper Films and Mango Monster Productions in association with Catchlight Studio, the film premiered last year at the 56th International Film Festival of India in Goa on November 27.
