The Traitors Telugu: Teja Sajja to Make His OTT Debut as Host of Prime Video’s Reality Show
After Karan Johar-hosted “The Traitors Season 2” ended, Prime Video is gearing up for “The Traitors Telugu,” with HunuMan actor Teja Sajja as host. On its social media handles, the OTT platform shared an intriguing clip of the reality show and announced the streaming date as Oct.15.
The reality show marks the digital debut of Teja Sajja. The series will consist of 20 contestants from different walks of life. Built around alliances, deception, and betrayal, it will be a 10-episode series.
The Traitors Telugu: When and Where to Watch Teja Sajja-Hosted Reality Show?
Prime Video has announced Oct. 15 as the premiere date for “The Traitors Telugu.” This regional adaptation follows the internationally popular reality format. The series will run for four weeks, with new episodes releasing every Thursday at 12 noon IST. Indian viewers can binge-watch the show in Telugu with English subtitles.
The Telugu edition will have a unique identity all its own, thanks to the first-time OTT host Teja Sajja. In the recently dropped trailer, he sets the tone for the game while keeping human nature and deception under the spotlight. The actor states, “Everybody in the world are good people, until an opportunity to deceive arrives. For love, power, war and victory, deception has not changed even if eras have. It is easy to spot an enemy, but what about a traitor who acts like a friend? If you cheat one person, it’s deception, but if you do that to everyone, it’s a game. Trust is uncool, deception is the new rule here.”
The contestants will be divided into two groups, namely Innocents and Traitors. The Innocents must identify the Traitors among them. Meanwhile, the Traitors will have to keep their identities hidden and eliminate their opponents.
