After the hit run of Season 1, ‘The Traitors 2 India’ is back to entertain netizens. Hosted by renowned filmmaker Karan Johar, the ultimate game show will premiere on Prime Video starting on August 13, with new episodes releasing every Thursday. The show features 21 celebrities competing in the game of trust, betrayal, and deception. 

The makers officially unveiled the teaser for Season 2, introducing two new faces, namely Mallika Sherawat and Munawar Faruqui. Several contestants from the previous season also made a cameo appearance, including Uorfi Javed, Purav Jha, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Elnaaz Norouzi.

The Traitors 2 India to Stream on Prime Video Starting in August

The Traitors 2 India has sparked significant buzz online. After its initial announcement, fans and a global audience have been waiting for the makers to unveil more details regarding the game and contestants. Host Karan Johar introduced Munawar Faruqui as the “king of reality TV, all the way from Nagpada”. Additionally, he also spoke about Mallika Sherawat, saying, “She’s known for murder,” referring to her breakout film Murder, which was released in 2004. He further added, “But will she kill in this game too or…?”, hinting at the twists and strategy expected on the show. The makers are yet to reveal the rest of the contestants.

Bankrolled by Dharmatic Entertainment, The Traitors 2 India has raised the stakes to an all-new level. The upcoming season promises to be bigger, bolder, and more dramatic than ever before. Based on the Dutch format “De Verraders,” the second installment comes a year after the first season, which ran for a month last year. The first season had an interesting mix of participants, with Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther bagging the winner’s title.
