The Super Mario Galaxy Movie OTT Release: Where and When to Watch Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy’s Animated Adventure?

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie was released in cinema halls on April 1, 2026. After completing its theatrical run, the adventure drama is all set for its digital debut. Featuring Chris Pratt and Anya Taylor-Joy in leading voice roles, the animated sequel premieres on the OTT platform JioHotstar and will begin streaming from August 7, 2026.

On July 23, the OTT platform JioHotstar took to its official social media timelines to announce the upcoming arrival of the much-loved film The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. It will be available in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Helmed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, the film draws inspiration from the Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 video games.

Chris Pratt and Anya Taylor-Joy reprise their voice roles as Mario and Princess Peach, along with Charlie Day, Jack Black, and Keegan-Michael Key. Additionally, Benny Safdie, Donald Glover, Glen Powell, and Brie Larson join the voice cast. 

The newly released film kicks off after Bowser’s defeat at the hands of Mario and Luigi. Bowser Jr. kidnaps Princess Rosalina, the guardian of the Lumas at the Comet Observatory, in an attempt to harness her cosmic powers to fuel a devastating weapon. As she strives to escape, she seeks the help of Princess Peach and Toad. Meanwhile, Mario and Luigi investigate a mysterious disturbance, which further leads them to befriend Yoshi. Fans and movie buffs now get an opportunity to witness the beauty of this animated film from the comfort of their homes.
