The Paradise, Starring Nani, Bags A Certificate from CBFC With 21 Cuts Ahead of Its Much-Awaited Release

With just a day left until the much-awaited release of “The Paradise,” the film board has granted it an ‘adult’ certificate. Starring Natural Star Nani, it is scheduled to hit theatres on Sept. 24. During the certification process, it has also undergone 21 cuts and changes. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has asked the makers to replace certain visuals, including an alternate visual involving a crow and the National Flag.

Bankrolled by Cherukuri Sudhakar under his SLV Cinemas banner, “The Paradise” is the highest-budget film in Nani’s career trajectory. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, here’s a chance to snatch a glimpse of the much-anticipated film.

Nani’s The Paradise Passes ‘A’ Certification by the Film Board

The film board asked the makers to make several changes, including a sequence change at the beginning of the film involving a pregnant woman. Additionally, in some scenes, foul language was allowed but muted in a few places. Digital visual effects were used to cover a tattoo with an offensive word, and the term ‘denotified tribe’ was also removed.

The teaser and songs, including ‘Aaya Sher’ and ‘Yeshanagula ’, already captivated the audience, leaving them intrigued about the film’s narrative. Talking about the lead role, in “The Paradise,” Nani essays the role of Jadal. Sporting a long braid, the actor’s look is an integral part of the story. Helmed by Srikanth Odela, “The Paradise” is all geared up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on Sept. 24, 2026, in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, English, and Spanish.
