The Odyssey Trailer: What to Expect?

The fresh teaser trailer jets off with a chaotic glimpse of Odysseus and his crew. Matt Damon steps into the role of Alexander, who is nothing short of a phenomenal leader. Tom Holland portrays the role of Odysseus’s son Telemachus while Anne Hathaway enacts wonderfully as Alexander’s wife, Penelope.

After the Trojan War, Alexander, the Greek hero Odysseus, and his team strive hard to find their way back. However, their voyage is anything but dangerous. They struggle to map out their path through land, water, uncharted territories, and caverns, which are homes to terrifyingly large creatures that prowl the shadows.

The trailer depicts the aftermath of war at its best. Meanwhile, Alexander shines through the screen while leading his men away from Troy. The 1-minute-53-second video also shows soldiers fighting fatigue and the unpredictable climate. With fewer dialogues and captivating visuals, the trailer truly stands out in glory, sparking the right amount of curiosity among the viewers. Written and directed by Christopher Nolan and produced by Emma Thomas, the film is bankrolled by Universal Pictures.
