A thrilling blend of Bigg Boss and Squid Game, this new show is set to become a high-octane reality series featuring a star-studded lineup of contestants. As the title suggests, it will welcome a total of 50 competitors. 

Several Television, social media, and entertainment industry fame, including Karan Patel, Mr. Faisu, Divya Agarwal, Riddhi Dogra, Shiv Thakare, and more, have already announced their entry into the lion’s den, away from the paps lens. The contestants will be showing up as their real selves, while the audience will watch them go beyond their comfort zone. Bankrolled by Banijay Asia, ‘The 50’ will feature renowned faces from television and digital platforms. It will require strategic planning, social play, and survival. According to Alok Jain of JioCinema, 50 celebrity contestants under one roof will be performing entertaining tasks. The reality show will feature elimination rounds and consist of approximately 50 episodes, culminating in a single winner. Here’s the list of contestants officially announced so far: 

1. Karan Patel – Actor, first confirmed contestant
2. Faisal Shaikh (Mr Faisu) – Social media star & influencer
3. Divya Agarwal – Reality TV star & winner of Bigg Boss OTT
4. Monalisa – Actress, reality TV personality
5. Vikrant Singh Rajpoot – Actor and Monalisa’s husband
6. Shiny Doshi – Television actress
7. Rudra Rana – Actor & model
8. Ahmed Al Marzooki – Celebrity interviewer
9. Shrutika Arjun – TV personality
10. Nehal Chudasama – Reality TV personality
11. Urvashi Dholakia – TV actress

A few more names like Saba Azad, Nikki Tamboli, Orry, Shweta Tiwari, Imran Khan, Ankita Lokhande, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kusha Kapila, Sreesanth, Dhanashree Verma, and more have come up but not yet confirmed.

The show will feature an unusual and dynamic format. It is set up inside a huge, castle-like structure described as a “mahal”, nestled in Mumbai’s Madh Island. There will be a whole lot of challenges, twists, and turns. Audience voting will play a crucial role in selecting the winner and determining the prize money.
