Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan is one of the most anticipated movies of the upcoming year. On December 27, the actor was present at the audio launch of the song ‘Swan’ in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Held at the Bukit Jalil Stadium, the launch event drew over 85,000 attendees, including celebrities and fans worldwide. The grand launch set a record in Malaysia for being the largest entertainment event ever. For the first time, a Tamil film’s audio launch outside India witnesses such a massive gathering.

Slated for a Pongal 2026 release on January 9, 2026, the audio launch of Jana Nayagan was a grand affair in Malaysia. Fans flew in from various countries to witness the never-before-seen launch. Security measures and crowd-handling practices were on point, making the event a grand carnival. The historic National Stadium Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur had a capacity of 80,000 seats and welcomed over 75,000.
Ahead of the festive-like launch, a special musical performance titled ‘Thalapathy Thiruvizha’, which comprised Vijay’s hit dance tracks, was held. A loud cheer from the crowd and Vijay’s mother, Shobha, live singing was a cherry on the cake. Undoubtedly, Jana Nayagan‘s audio launch was a massive hit and has been formally registered in the Malaysia Book of Records for the huge audience turnout.
Helmed by H Vinoth, Jana Nayagan stars Vijay as a police officer, alongside Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, and Mamitha Baiju. According to the Industry tracker, Sacnilk, the overseas rights fetched Rs 80 crore, audio rights Rs 35 crore, and streaming rights Rs 110 crore.
