After months of speculation, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married on July 3, 2026. Their wedding took place at MSG in the heart of New York City, in the presence of limited guests and family members. According to a permit filed with New York City officials, the wedding celebrations kicked off on Thursday with much smaller pre-party festivities. The ceremony on Friday was a much larger event, with a stream of blacked-out SUVs seen driving through a pop-up tent erected outside the stadium to shield guests’ arrival.
Not just that, reports claim that at around 7:20 PM local time, digital billboards outside Madison Square Garden lit up a pinkish lavender color, which read, “JUST&T Married” after the pair were wed. Though the wedding pictures aren’t out yet, reports suggest that their wedding has already become one of the year’s biggest celebrity events. The pop superstar and the three-time Super Bowl champion got hitched on July 3 in an intimate yet star-studded ceremony at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden. The New York City Police Department (NYPD) also shut down the streets around the arena midday, closing them off to vehicles and pedestrian traffic.
Talking about their wedding attire, Jonathan Anderson, the Northern Irish creative director of Dior, has been revealed as the designer of haute couture wedding looks for Taylor Swift and her new husband, Travis Kelce. Moreover, their footwear was custom-made by Christian Louboutin, while Swift accessorised herself with Cartier jewellery.
According to reports, cars carrying attendees were escorted through large security tents before entering the venue. On Thursday, Swift and Kelce hosted a rehearsal dinner attended by Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Jack Antonoff and Lena Dunham, among others. Additionally, Taylor’s longtime best friend Dakota Johnson, Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Lopez, Emma Stone, and Gigi Hadid were reportedly present at their wedding. NFL stars including Patrick Mahomes, George Kittle, and Micah Parsons were also expected to witness the couple exchanging vows.
As per to Page Six, the black velvet boxes were engraved with “TT.” As celebrities were spotted holding them tightly in their hands, the publication revealed that each contained a champagne flute encrusted with diamonds. All in all, celebrities and fans across the world are incredibly excited for their wedding pictures to drop.
