Suriya 46 titled Vishwanath & Sons Locks Release Date, First Look Unveiled!

Venky Atluri’s film starring Suriya and Mamitha Baiju in lead roles has finally dropped its first look poster. Scheduled to arrive in cinemas in July, the drama is expected to be nothing short of a wholesome entertainer. On Monday, March 2, the makers and the lead actor Suriya took to their social media handles to unveil the poster. Tentatively titled Suriya 46 has now been named Vishwanath and Sons. 

Bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments, the film marks the return of ‘vintage’ Suriya. Here’s a closer look at the heat-warming poster.

On Monday, the actor and producers took to their official X handle and unveiled the poster featuring Suriya at the centre of the frame with a baby. The lead actor captioned his post saying, “Love with a difference, family with a purpose — we arrive in July as a wholesome entertainer.” While the banner Sithara Entertainments’ caption read, “Power in his presence. Warmth in his embrace. Bringing back the vintage magic of @Suriya_offl in a heart-touching family spectacle. #VishwanathAndSons ~ The biggest family drama of the year arrives this July.” Suriya was last spotted in Kanguva, released in November 2024.

The much-anticipated 46th film of Suriya has finally received an official title and a release month. The striking poster presents the star in a youthful and charming avatar, holding a baby and a feeding bottle. The first poster instantly piqued curiosity among fans and movie buffs. It suggests an emotional and family-oriented narrative, while retaining the promise of a wholesome entertainer. Helmed by Venky Atluri, the film stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead. Meanwhile, the supporting cast comprises Raveena Tandon, Bhavani Sre, Radikaa Sarathkumar, and Bjorn Surrao in key roles.
