Srinivasa Mangapuram Review on X: Jai Krishna Ghattamaneni, Rasha Thadani’s Actioner Receives Mixed Reactions

Mahesh Babu’s nephew, Jai Krishna Ghattamaneni, has made his acting debut with “Srinivasa Mangapuram.” The film hit the silver screens on July 30, 2026. The Telugu romance drama has received mixed reviews from the audience. Raveena Tandon’s Rasha Thadani, too, makes her Tollywood debut.

Srinivasa Mangapuram chronicles the journey of Vasu Babu and Manga, two childhood friends who gradually fall in love in the temple town of Tirupati. Their carefree lives change when an unexpected conflict emerges, driven by a powerful antagonist. Refusing to leave Manga behind or abandon their relationship, Vasu Babu is forced into a high-stakes battle to protect the woman he loves. Many viewers appreciated debutant Jaya Krishna’s performance and felt that he made a commanding screen presence.

A user shared, “A familiar commercial entertainer that introduces JaiKrishna as a promising mass hero. His performance is confident , while the action episodes and #GVPrakash’s background score add energy throughout. Overall, a decent one-time watch.” Another reviewer added, “Sriniavasa Mangapuram is a very average mass film that is likely to appeal more to B and C center audiences to some extent than to urban viewers. While the film itself has little to offer, Jai Krishna can take away a decent debut performance. Director Ajay Bhupathi does well in what he is known for but falls short in delivering an overall impactful film.”

Some viewers also criticised the film for following a familiar formula without bringing anything new to the table. One rated the film 1.75 out of 5, calling it routine and predictable from beginning to end.
