Couple Friendly Box Office Collection: Santosh Soban, Manasa Varanasi’s Romance Drama Crosses Rs 5 Cr Gross in 4 Days

The latest Telugu romantic drama Couple Friendly has been sailing through the box office with ease. Released on the special occasion of Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026, the small-budget movie stars Santosh Soban and Manasa Varanasi in lead roles. Directed by Ashwin Chandrasekhar, the film has maintained its steady run, crossing the Rs 6 crore mark worldwide. In the first two days, Couple Friendly grossed around Rs 4 crore and jumped on day four, adding approximately Rs 2 crore to its total. 

Bankrolled by Ajay Kumar Raju P under the banner of UV Concepts, the romantic drama was released in two regional languages, Telugu and Tamil. Alongside the leads, the film also stars Rajiv Kanakala, Yogi Babu, Goparaju Ramana, and others in significant roles.

Couple Friendly Box Office Collection Day 4

Couple Friendly has been performing well at the box office since its release. It collected Rs 0.73 crore net on its opening day at the Indian box office. On day 3, the film collected Rs 3 crore and Rs 5.42 crore worldwide. In the US markets, too, it minted about $50,000. These figures are not very massive, but they do indicate steady interest among the Telugu and Tamil diaspora. On day 4, the film surpassed the Rs 6 crore mark. 

The film follows the complexities of a live-in relationship. Set in Chennai, it narrates the love story of Shiva and Mithra, who soon encounter ego clashes and emotional friction. As a result, their relationship takes an unexpected turn with a health-related twist that forces the couple to reassess their priorities and commitment. 

The romantic entertainer was released alongside Vishwak Sen’s Funky and Arjun Sarja’s Seetha Payanam, but the weekend turned out to be dull for both of them. Funky failed to draw crowds on day one, while Seetha Payanam’s shows were canceled. Couple Friendly was the only one that captivated the attention of movie fanatics with its compelling narrative.
