The 42-year-old Bollywood actor Kunal Kemmu portrays the role of Gaurav Gehlot, also known as GG, whose emotional state remains in a state of flux. Right after his divorce, he decides to adopt a baby, leaving his family flabbergasted. The Gehlot chaos begins as the family struggles to accept how Gaurav, the one who misplaces a pair of socks, will raise a human child. Undoubtedly, the Netflix drama is packed with the unmatched energy of the Great Indian family, unconditional love, and hysterical laughter.

Gaurav Gehlot, the family’s man-child, strives hard to embrace parenthood with equal parts determination and delightful disorientation. It is exciting to see how Gaurav takes steps toward becoming a responsible man, or rather, an ideal father. Additionally, the series promises to be a light, relatable, and feel-good family entertainer infused with love, laughter, and a touch of desi drama.

Talking about the lead character, Kunal Kemmu pours his heart out saying, “Single Papa shows the messy, colorful chaos that makes a family special. Playing Gaurav, who is figuring out how to be a dad, made me laugh, cry, and reminded me how much parenting is trial and error, and a whole lot of love. I’m excited for everyone to meet my cute baby and join this joyride with my Great Indian Family!
